Meet Dr. Tobin
Psychologist
Dr. Tobin is a licensed psychologist with over 20 years of experience in mental health. Her mental health experience encompasses inpatient and outpatient treatment, emergency/crisis intervention, psychoeducational, neuropsychological, and psychological evaluations. Dr. Tobin has developed expertise in the evaluations of learning disabilities and learning-related conditions, in both children and adults. As well as personality and behavioral assessment.
Dr. Tobin has assisted many adults in obtaining accommodations for state testing and college. She has also assisted many children and caregivers through the CSE process.
Dr. Tobin earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Russell Sage College, where she earned numerous project awards, scholar awards, and graduated with honors. She was also invited to join the international honor society Psi Chi due to her well-rounded academic curriculum.
Dr. Tobin earned her first Master’s degree from Sage Graduate School of Albany in Community Counseling Psychology. Her second Master’s and Doctoral degrees were completed at Walden University in Minneapolis, where she specialized in Psychological Assessment and Clinical Psychology. She was awarded her doctoral degree, after completing her dissertation on the effectiveness of equine therapy on the reduction of depression and anxiety symptoms, and an internship in Saratoga Springs, NY.

Dr. Tobin conducts these tests in tandem with reviewing any relevant physical health tests to rule out the need for a referral to other medical professionals.
